Frequently Asked Questions

What does the first session include?

The first session includes a detailed history of your current condition and your past medical history, a physical assessment of the injury, treatment (if necessary), advice on how best to manage your ailment, a personalised exercise programme and detailed plan of action moving forwards.

What should I bring with me to my appointment?

Any relevant medical history/notes/scans are helpful for us to help make our diagnosis. Other than that, just yourself and any questions you want answered regarding your current condition.

How many treatments will I need?

This is different for everyone. Based on your initial assessment, we provide a recommendation for treatment. We always make the decision together regarding further treatment, and it is dependent on your wants/needs/expectations, along with what we feel is necessary to achieve it.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Ultimately, something you’re comfortable in. Clothing that allows us to get to the area site, i.e a strappy top for neck/shoulder pain, or shorts for knee/ankle pain is ideal though.

Do I need to see a GP first?

No, we are equipped to make a diagnosis and provide advice/treatment based on our assessment. We will refer you if we feel you need further assessment or treatment outside of our remit.
